In AI we trust, or do we not?

Artificial Intelligence is a buzzword hanging on to our lives since time immemorial. That’s how it seems though it has barely been a few years since its formal inception and usage. Such is the ubiquity of AI that it is omnipresent in every aspect of our lives. With the continuous development of AI models and frameworks, it’s sphere of influence is ever increasing. The utility of AI in human lives and enterprises is unparalleled and it is going to dominate our lives for the foreseeable future. With AI being such an integral part of our lives, the question on its trustworthiness is worth pondering about.

Like electing a government, we entrust our vote in an individual or a party because we trust them to make our lives better. The same applies for AI as we are entrusting it with several activities in our lives. The trust in the technology and the process changes is something one has to deep dive on when establishing the pillars of trust for artificial intelligence.

The key pillars of trust and AI ‘s performance against those pillars will help us set a direction of trusting or not trusting AI fully.
